Design and materials
A portrait touch panel for one room: lights, curtains, air conditioning, scenes and music, with two independent thermostats. With the video intercom licence, it answers the gate and the doors with video and shows IP cameras. A proximity sensor wakes the screen when a hand comes near. The KNX bus coupler is built in, and Ethernet carries the video.

One smooth front
The screen and the border sit under one glossy front, as Zennio's photos show. Two small sensor windows at the top wake the screen.
A slim body
It stands 12 mm in front of the wall. The body is PC+ABS, flame retardant and halogen free.
Two thermostats
It runs two independent thermostats, for example the room and its bathroom.
Where it goes
By the door of the master bedroom and the majlis, at 1.4 m to the centre, away from the supply grille and direct sun. It needs a 24 V DC supply and Ethernet at the back box. Zennio advises against the built-in temperature sensor for thermostat control: for the thermostat, wire a Zennio temperature probe to one of the inputs.
Try the screen
This is the Z50's screen, set up for the master bedroom of a sample villa. Use it as you would on the wall. Everything you change, the rest of the screen follows.
Demo roomMaster bedroom
This is the master bedroom of the sample villa. It changes when you use the screen. You can also tap a lamp, the ceiling lights, the LED strip, the curtains or the air conditioning in the drawing. Then the screen changes too.
Six things owners do every day
- Turn on the bedside lamps.
- Dim the ceiling lights to about 40%.
- Set the air conditioning to 21°.
- Open the curtains.
- Open the menu and put the house in Night mode.
- Press "Make the gate ring", then answer and open the gate.
0 of 6 done
Homestat rebuilt this screen from Zennio's interface so you can try it here. The real screen differs in detail. The gear opens the settings, where you can change to the dark theme. Your installer sets up your own rooms, names and scenes.
