Design and materials
A KNX keypad from Akubela's Aura series. Each button has a small OLED label that shows an icon or a word, and you change the labels in the BelaHome app when the room changes. It has temperature, humidity and proximity sensors, and a soft light comes on when a hand comes near.

Aluminium frame
Akubela makes the Aura frames in aerospace-grade aluminium, with a finish that resists wear, corrosion and fingerprints. Akubela's photo shows a fine horizontal grain.
OLED labels
Each button has a small OLED label that shows an icon or a word. You change the labels in the BelaHome app, so nothing is engraved.
A soft light when a hand comes near
A proximity sensor turns on a soft light when a person comes near, so the keys are easy to find in the dark.
Where it goes
By the door of each main room, on the latch side, at 1.2 m to the centre.
