Design and materials
Theben's KNX room controller: a 4-inch touch screen on the wall of a room. It has up to 6 pages with 8 functions on each: lights and dimmers, RGBW and tunable white, blinds, scenes, the thermostat, the air conditioning and audio. Up to 8 temperature controllers set the mode, the temperature and the fan stage. It measures the temperature, the humidity and the light of the room, and a proximity sensor wakes the screen when someone comes near. You can put your own background pictures on it from a micro SD card.

Brushed metal or silky matte
Four brushed finishes: aluminium in grey or black, brass and stainless steel. Six silky-matte finishes: aluminium painted in several layers and sealed, for a soft feel.
Black glass on a metal body
The glass covers the whole front. The finish you pick is the body around it, 11 mm deep on the wall.
The room on one screen
Swipe between the pages: the lights, the LED strip, the curtains, the air conditioning and the scenes.
Where it goes
By the door of the room, at 1.4 m to the centre, in place of the switches and the thermostat; away from the supply grille and direct sun. Besides the KNX bus, it needs a 12 to 30 V DC supply.
Try the screen
This is the iONprime CP4's screen, set up for the living room of a sample villa. Swipe between its pages, as you would on the wall. Everything you change, the rest of the screen follows.
